Lost Girl is an adaptation of the classic story Peter Pan. The show follows Wendy after she returns from Neverland, and her trying to adapt to regular life. The show revolves around a girl lost in a moment in time. While the world continues around her, she stays trapped in time, depressed, lamenting, and alone. As a design team, we wanted to build a show that represented her loss. How do you depict someone lost in a moment in time??
Neverland: Peter's Theme
Early in the show, we flash back to a time when Wendy and Peter were together in Neverland. I wanted this to be brighter from a sonic and musical perspective as this memory is one of the only moments of happiness that
Wendy has throughout the show.

Wendy's Theme

The show revolves around a girl lost in a moment in time. While the world continues around her, she stays trapped in time, depressed, lamenting, and alone. For me, the transitions served as representations of how life continued moving without her, days could go on without her noticing.
